Taking the nutrition from the historical heritage and cultural accumulation of Qilu, the teaching work has the first-class level and strength in the national dance colleges.

The college strongly advocates artistic innovation and creates a large number of outstanding dance works. Such as: "Liuquan pursuit", "Monument", "Thinking", "Jiaodong woman" and other dance dramas as well as "Yimeng - Bridge", "Spine", "Spring Knows Yimeng", "Immediate Dreams", "Awareness", "A touch of red "Twisted Bars and Twisted Bars", "A Cloud in the Fields of the Landscaping", "Haiyang has a Wang Auntie", "Magpie", "Bohai People", "Red Flag" and other excellent dance repertoires. In November 2017, the college launched the Shandong Folk Dance Collection "Gen•Yuan"; in April 2018, the college grandly launched the "Ziweihuakai" graduation exhibition season.
